What are OSSU Rangers?
OSSU Rangers featured in OSSU's programs are the foresters, fishermen, divers, and community leaders. They are professionals with the knowledge and skills to not only utilize natural resources, but to nurture and regenerate them while doing so.
By experiencing the passion and expertise of the OSSU Rangers in protecting nature, participants will discover diverse ways to engage with the natural world.

Kenta Kobayashi
Satoyama: Hokubō, Maniwa City,
He is a forester working to preserve and restore satoyama through small-scale, sustainable forest management.

Misa Hirose
Satoumi: Hinase, Bizen City,
She is a researcher dedicated to protecting satoumi where creatures can live happily by bridging marine research with on-site ocean work.

Hiroya Matsuda
Satoumi: Kasaoka Islands, Kasaoka City
He is a diver protecting sustainable satoumi through marine experiments and surveys
